In starting this group our thinking has centred around four basic assumptions about a small group, namely;
Jesus is at the centre.
Everyone has something to bring.
God wants us to personally grow and change.
God wants to multiply good community.
We felt these assumptions translated to expectations of each person in any group we would start, namely;
Worship, bible and personal openness to Jesus and each other.
They would contribute.
They would be willing to take risks and make mistakes as they grow in Christ.
Some people would be willing to help start new groups, as more people joined.
