This is a picture drawn by Josh, which kind of sums up Sarah's worship that she led us in. Sarah can you write more and Josh can you explain the picture...I don't want to put words in either of your mouths.

Awesome.

  1. There's these words written by the prophet isaiah, about what worship is, and what acts of worship like fasting should really be like. Isaiah quotes God as saying,
"Is this not the kind of fasting I have chosen:
to loose the chains of injustice
and untie the cords of the yoke, to set the oppressed free
    and break every yoke?
Is it not to share your food with the hungry
and to provide the poor wanderer with shelter -
whenyou see the naked, to clothe him, and not to turn away from your own flesh and blood?"

So we drew pictures and wrote words that reflected these words, and our thoughts about them. It was good. We have such love to give because of loving God, and loving other people does not decrease our capacity or our security or our love - it makes it more.
